I hail from a small village (Peringode) in Palakkad district. I grew up watching my grandmother cook a variety of dishes using vegetables grown at home, especially traditional dishes such as pickles. Since then I had been passionate about cooking. I would help her in the kitchen and learn unique combinations of spices from her.
During COVID, I recreated some of those special pickle recipes and shared them with my friends and family. Everyone loved the blend of these classic recipes with modern taste. This inspired me to further improvise using different ingredients & techniques. Even though I am from an Information Technology field, I realised this was my calling. Hence I decided to continue to explore my culinary journey and share these indigenous recipies, so everyone can cherish and enjoy the authentic taste of grandma’s recipes.
